Tornadoes

A tornado is a violent, dangerous, rotating column of air which is in contact with both the surface of the earth and a cumulonimbus cloud or, in rare cases, the base of a cumulus cloud. Tornadoes aren't common in BC but it is possible to get one here. Why is it important to learn how to survive a tornado?

There has been rumours that an earthquake could hit Vancouver in the next 100 years or so. Nobody knows when it will happen and it is quite possible that there will be no earthquake at all.
